  • Services and facilities need to be improved. Bathroom space is relatively cramped, shower equipment is good, hot water is very good. I need to borrow a mobile phone charger, but the service center has to charge another 500 yuan as a deposit. It's amazing. Isn't there a deposit for staying in the store? This is not commensurate with a five-star hotel. When I go to Menghai, Yunnan, a four-star hotel will provide it for free, without deposit. For reference only.Superior Room(Business Floor )

  • In Beijing, especially during the holidays, the five-star hotel in this geographical location is absolutely worth it. I stayed in an international hotel a few years ago. Satisfied with everything. The only regret is that the parking fee is more expensive than in the past (originally 20 yuan per day, now 50 yuan per day). It is also very convenient from the Oriental new world in Dongdan.Standard Room(Standard Floor)

  • The location of the hotel is very good! Convenient transportation, the first choice for business travel. Every time I go to Beijing, I have to stay in a hotel. Breakfast is rich in variety and the front desk service attitude is very good. The waiter of the standard room booked this time kindly arranged a room with a large balcony. Recommended stay!Standard Room(Standard Floor)

  • It's a five-star hotel. The lobby is magnificent. The front desk service is standard. I speak English with foreigners. The cleaner is very friendly. The room is a little old, but it's OK. The transportation is very convenient. It's close to Tiananmen Square. The bus station is at the gate of the hotel, and the subway station is to the East. There's a lot of food in Hengji center. It's more expensive to book in advance.Standard Room(Standard Floor)

  • The hotel is convenient to travel and the service is acceptable. There are two unsatisfactory points: first, there are too few people to check in and check out, and there is a long queue every time. Second, the tea lounge urges people to order again and again, for fear of taking his place in vainStandard Room(Standard Floor)

  • The five-star price in this area is acceptable. The old five-star service and hygiene are very good. In the evening, let's send slippers and mineral water in place quickly. The hair dryer is broken. Bring one right away and repair it the next day! It would have been great! We stayed in the family room for four nights and added beds for free. The beds were placed in the aisle, but the beds were very soft and comfortable! The bed is not crowded. The room is large enough! Although the bathroom is a little old, it is relatively complete with rain and bathtub! There are subway stations and Beijing station of line 2. There are many morning restaurants: Yonghe, zhenkung Fu, from the cafe and bakery, very clean. Where can I solve breakfast, and then go out directly by subway! Recommended hotel!Family Room

Travelogue

  • Leave all the relaxation after the business trip to the leisure center

I came to Beijing on a long business trip this time, and after three days of meetings from morning till night, I felt stiff like I had wound up a spring. When booking the room, I didn't take a closer look. On the night of check-in, I followed the hallway to find an automatic vending machine and accidentally stumbled upon the leisure center of Beijing International Hotel. It was only then that I realized there was such a treasure trove hidden in this old hotel that could crush all fatigue.
The leisure center is located on the B1 floor of the hotel, and there is no stuffiness of underground space when I open the door. The 25 meter long heated swimming pool was my first target. The water quality is so clear that the blue line at the bottom of the pool can be seen. The water temperature remains stable at 28 degrees all year round. In the evening after the meeting, there were very few people. I swam three laps wearing a swim cap, and even the tightness in my shoulders and neck that had been accumulated for several days dissipated with the water flow. The lifeguard by the pool didn't just show off. When he saw me swimming to the deep water area, he raised his hand from a distance to signal safety. After getting ashore, the hot water in the shower area came out in seconds, and the towel was warm and wrapped around me, without even a chance to shiver.
After changing clothes and turning to the nearby fitness center, I realized that the configuration here is not inferior to the chain gym outside. The treadmill is facing a floor mirror, and when I run, I can see the exercise data on the projection screen synchronously. The dumbbells in the strength zone are neatly arranged from 2.5kg to 30kg, and even my commonly used high position pull-down equipment is well maintained. The most thoughtful thing is that there is a free sports supply station in the corner, with room temperature mineral water, dry wipes for wiping sweat, and even sports drinks for replenishing electrolytes, so you don't have to carry your own bags from the room. I walked slowly on the elliptical machine for forty minutes, and an old guest who had been staying next to me for a week talked to me, saying that he came to soak for an hour every day after meetings, which was much better than lying down in his room to relieve fatigue.
I thought the swimming pool and gym were all surprises, but I didn't expect to find a whole leisure area hidden inside. I booked a one hour pool room with a flat tablecloth and no pilling. The golf club was just the right amount to hold in my hand, and I was used to playing on the wrinkled table downstairs in the company. Here, I played my cue smoothly. The table tennis room and sauna room next to it are also clean and tidy. When the sauna room comes out and you lie down on the rest chair, the waiter quietly hands you a glass of liangbai kai. Even the timing of the reminder is just right, and you won't disturb too much.
In the following days, I almost went to the leisure center every day after meetings. Sometimes I swam around twice, and sometimes I just sat in the rest area for half an hour. I didn't even save up the exhaustion of business trips. I used to think that the recreational facilities in old hotels were just decorations, but this time when I stayed at Beijing International Hotel, I realized that there were no fancy internet celebrity check-in points here, but every facility was well maintained, and the guests' needs for exercise and relaxation were clearly understood. On the day I left, I specifically asked the front desk about the opening hours of the leisure center. The next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely pack my swim trunks and sneakers in my luggage.Show more

  • Staying at a hotel during a business trip is the most worry free surprise in a Beijing itinerary

This time I came to Beijing to coordinate the annual project. Before departure, I checked the hotel list and finally finalized Beijing International Hotel on Chang'an Avenue - after all, the partner is nearby, which can save two hours of traffic congestion during rush hour. For business travelers who are rushing to meet the schedule, it is more practical than anything else.
Take Metro Line 2 from Beijing South Station directly to Jianguomen, and walk for 6 minutes from the subway exit to the hotel entrance. There is no need to take detours or transfer trains, and dragging a 20 inch suitcase is also completely effortless. When checking in, the front desk immediately recognized me as a business guest who had made a note in advance. Before I could speak, they handed me the license plate for the express check-in channel and completed the procedures in 30 seconds. They also gave me a pass to the executive lounge and reminded me that I could go for free coffee and print documents before 3 pm. I happened to have a few pages of the plan to adjust, so I didn't have to go outside to find a printing shop.
The 21st floor business room I stayed in completely met all the needs of business travelers: the 1.8-meter large bed was just right in terms of softness and hardness, and I changed my plan at 2 o'clock the day before. I fell asleep within ten minutes of lying down; The desk by the window is widened to accommodate two laptops and a pile of project materials. It is also equipped with a USB socket next to it, so there is no need to search for power strips everywhere; The most thoughtful thing is that there is an adjustable angle desk lamp next to the desk, which does not dim the light. Even when changing the PPT until late at night, I didn't feel my eyes getting sore. The sound insulation in the room is particularly solid, even if the main road of Chang'an Avenue is downstairs, you can't hear the sound of traffic even when the door is closed, and you can hardly hear the footsteps in the corridor, so you don't have to worry about being disturbed at all.
What surprised me the most this time was the hotel's supporting services. The next day, we will have a 3-hour offline meeting. We have booked a meeting room at the front desk one day in advance and will enter directly at the scheduled time. The projection, whiteboard, and tea have all been arranged in advance. The necessary flip pens and spare A4 paper will be delivered within 5 minutes by making a phone call. I was too lazy to run far at noon, so I ordered a business light meal directly at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The Beijing style braised pork buns and regular soup were made authentically, and I could finish them in half an hour and return to my workstation to change the minutes, saving too much time compared to queuing outside. In the evening, we had a small-scale discussion with a client about the details. We went straight to the revolving restaurant on the 28th floor without having to queue up for an internet celebrity store. We ate and chatted for two hours, taking a leisurely stroll for half a circle. Outside the window was the night view of Chang'an Avenue, creating a relaxed yet dignified atmosphere. The previously deadlocked cooperation details were mostly finalized through chatting.
When checking out, it was even smoother. Simply place your room card at the front desk and you don't have to wait for a room check. With your luggage in hand, you can head straight to the taxi station downstairs. It takes only 10 minutes to get to Beijing Station without any delay on the return high-speed train. I used to think that staying in a hotel for business trips was just about finding a place to sleep, but this time I realized that choosing the right location and providing attentive service can greatly increase the efficiency of the entire itinerary. Next time I come to Beijing to coordinate projects, I will definitely book here directly.Show more
